When we drive along Black Forest scenic route towards Freiburg, one of our travel mate suddenly suggest that since we are so near to France, shall we just drive over to France for lunch... Yup, this is how we discover this fairytale town of Colmar, Alsace.

 

I would think that this is one of the pretties town in France, this beautiful historic center with its flower-edge canals and traditional buildings spared from French Revolution and both WW1 & WW2, really is breathtaking.
